Where can I see what is considering MS as spyware, what
is goiing to block? For instance Hotbar is considered as
a Spyware?

Thank you

Hi M,
Pretty sure that most of the scanners pick up on hotbar.

Hotbar IS spyware! Look at it this way... If the program
or application you are installing displays ads or
generates popups or offers you special deals or savings
by visiting 1 or more websites, it IS spyware. You can
call it adware, spyware, malware, or whatever-ware, its
all the same. Some are worse than others, taking control
of your browser and forcing you to view content or
websites you may prefer not to.

Simply being ad-supported software isn't grounds for listing with Microsoft
Antispyware. There is reputable ad-supported software, and there is
software which many of us view as having the primary purpose of serving up
ads. However, if that purpose is disclosed up front in the EULA, and the
product is removable, the user has the choice of installing such a product.

Here's the list of behaviors that qualify for listing and removal by
Microsoft Antispyware:

identifies a program as a spyware threat (Listing criteria and Dispute
process)
