Spyware Free Application

I noticed that Microsoft AntiSpyware will report for
certain applications that "Microsoft AntiSpyware has
determined this program to be free of known spyware."

This certainly seems to occur primarily for MS
applications, but it also occurs for other vendor
applications.

How does MSAS determined if an application is "free of
known spyware"? Is is possible for a software vendor to
achieve this type of classification by MSAS?

Good advice--here's the link I'd use:

This is the vendor dispute form. The normal use of this form is for a
vendor with a product which is listed by Microsoft Antispyware, and the
vendor disputes that listing.

However, during the beta thus far, at least, this is also the way to get in
contact with Microsoft to get your product listed as spyware-free.
