We have windows 2000 SP4 systems and have scheduled the Spyware to run a 2 am
daily. However, it never runs. We see that if we are logged into the PC and
network, Spyware does run. Is that the way it is supposed to be? We tell
our network people to log off at night for security purposes. Is there
something else that needs to be set to get this to run at night. The
"Disable" is not checked.

Hi Gary,

The administrator have to be log on, in order to scan on schedule.

This is the way the beta1 product works. When beta2 is released, we've been
told that there is a component which runs as a service, which will help with
a number of login/administrator/limited user type issues.

So--I believe you are stuck with the current behavior until beta2 is
available. There have been resource kit bits in the past to allow an app to
run as a service--but I never used them enough to recall the limitations--I
certainly haven't heard of anyone figuring out a good way around this
limitation.
