Spyware Defs

I have updated to the new vers of MSAS- ver 1.0.613. When
I click on File and then check for new defs, the program
states that it is downloading new defs( ie updating from
5725 to 5727). I let the program finish
downloading....retry the same procedure and it will
download the same defs again- time and time again. Is
this not aberrant behavior? Can someone explain. Thanks

I have .613 also. It SHOULD have 2 yellow stars that

state that your >most recent spyware definitions
installed & >most recent software installed. It does not
look like your updater is finalizing the download of the
new items for some odd reason...? :( Are you allowing
it to completely finish the download? If so, the 2
yellow stars & wording (as mentioned above) will appear
at the very end...)
 
Yes...the main dashboard of MSAS does state that I have
defs 5727...however, as above, whenever I check for
updates it states everytime that defs are being updated
from 5725 to 5727. I know this is a BETA....but in my
experience, any other program that you check for updates,
they either tell you that updates are available or
not...they do not keep reinstalling or updating the same
update. Program just a small program glitch. Thanks for
your response!
 
You're not alone as mine does the same thing! Reading
some of the posts in this newsgroup many people are
having the same problem.
 
Run a scan, check how many registry key, the scan report.

I have the same problem with the updating of the Spyware
definitions.
The preceding beta version correctly worked instead.
Microsoft works really well!!
