Spyware Definition Updates

Does anybody know how to automatically download the
definition updates , I can manually download them but when
I set the download to daily at a given time it does not do
anything.
 
Thats because definitions are not distributed on a frequent basis or known
schedule.
 
If thats the case why can you force a update even if your
schedule the updates for 10am wait for the autoupdater to
run,It doesn't so you force one at 10.05am,it runs and
spyware is updated.
