Have you tried posting your problems
not related to MS AntiSpyware to
news://msnews.microsoft.com

and please don't bother to send me private mail
because I don't check my mailbox regularly

Antispyware does not have this functionality. It is likely that the
attachment is from a blocked extension list, and Outlook will not allow a
user to retrieve those files. You may have your friend rename the file
extension so that you can save it locally and change the extension to the
correct type.

I also have similar issues when mapping a network drive,
browsing for a network printer, and opening files from a
network drive. I get terrible delays. Once I end the
GIANTAntiSpywareUpdater process, the above things start to
work as expected with no delays.

I'm not sure, but I wonder if my firewall is conflicting
with the antispyware. I don't get any alerts about that
process so I can't tell if that's it or not.

You can edit the fiule types that are blocked (at your own
risk, of course)
