Hi
Which is better Spyware Blaster or Spybot S&D

They're both entirely different types of programs, and you would do well to
have both. Blaster is a background thing (tho Spybot does have an Immunize
function) that works in the registry. It does add to your registry a lot of
dummy entries, but if that does not concern you then...go for both.

Hi Martin

Use both. Spybot S&D to remove spyware; SpywareBlaster to prevent
spyware (re-)installing itself.

If you look in the immunization section of Spy Bot you will see that
they even recommend using spywareblaster. Excellent combination of tool
and utility.

Use both.
Use Spywareblaster for prevention.
Use Spybot for prevention (immunise-option and resident-option) and
scanning.

Note: the immunize option in Spybot does exactly the same as spywareblaster
, though on a lesser scale.

I seem to remember that Spybot recommends SpywareBlaster as giving more
protection.

Correct, that why i mentioned on a "lesser scale". They do the same thing,
but Spywareblaster adds more activeX killbits to the registry than
immunization.
