Spyware Beta

I downloaded MS Spyware today and it worked fine.
Then I tried to send a report asking about Spyware not
finding stuff seen by Spyware Doctor - Upon trying to
send my report, I got a proxy setting error and am too
ignorant to know how to fix my proxy setting(s). IE works
fine for browsing, etc.
Can anyone educate and help me?

Yes, its not guranteed working feature in this release, should be fixed by
beta 2.
 
So far, you are equally educated to the rest of us in terms of getting this
thing working when it does not. I've now found a machine with the symptom
to work with, and if I have a result, I'll post it in the .networking
group--but I don't think it'll be quick and easy.
