Spyware and taskbar

Scott

I have my taskbar on the _right_ side of the screen,
with Autohide turned on. I have not seen any messages
from MS-AntiSpyware since changing my screen to this
orientation (about a week ago). Yesterday, when I copied
a new .exe file onto my disk, I saw a bright
little "window" quickly slide up the taskbar and
disappear. The little window seemed to be about the right
size for MS-AntiSpyware, and I figured it was trying to
tell me that a .exe file was being added to my system.
Does anyone else have any experience with MS-AntiSpyware
trying to deal with non-standard placement of the
taskbar?

First off...if you have a firewall that a EXE file was
trying to be installed in your PC.

If you have a good firewall it should advise you of such
cases.

I tend to use Sygate because I can see all the programs
that are sending information from my computer.

I have the same problem: when the taskbar is placed on
the left side of the screen, then the alert windows do
not stop and they disappear at the top-right corner of
the screen.
