Spyware and popups...

I have installed the MS Anti Spyware and service pack 2. I
have set up the popul blocker filter level as "High". But
still windows internet explorer is not able to prevent
popus nor spywares... Juz curious to know what else to be
done to make IE popup free !!!

some popups are due to Flash events... those dont have a workaround...
yet... dont know how to do this in IE, but uninstall the Flash Plugin...
anyone that knows how to do this?
 
You can disable flash using one of the Tools that SpywareBlaster has as part
of it--I'd recommend that way to do this.
 
MSAS says in its help for "About MSAS" that it will
prevent the consequences of spyware, like popups.
However, I see no settings in MSAS that will specifically
block popups. Is there supposed to be a setting for this?

(No, I don't run XP SP2, for several reasons!)
