After installing Spyware my son found that his AOM would
not run in the online multiuser. AOM gave the old error
message 13: invalid CD key or wrong language setting in
IE (or something like that). Turned Spyware off and AOM
worked.
This is a brand new big Dell machine with Windows XP
Home. All Microsoft updates have been regularly applied.
Directly connected to a Belkin router.
Here's the mystery. Take an old Sony notebook, same AOM,
same Windows XP, same Spyware, same everything (as much
as possible) but it uses a wireless to the same router.
AOM runs fine.
BTW it does not matter if MS Firewall is/not running.
I like the Spyware, but love my son.
