One thing to try is restarting in safe mode, by pressing the F8 function key
before the first Windows screen appears, and doing full, deep scans with
Microsoft antispyware until one comes through clean.
Please let us know if that does not work with this specific bug--I don't
think I have that information yet.
Additionally, it is a good idea to update your antivirus before restarting
in safe mode, and also scan with your antivirus.
Let me give you the Microsoft answer.
Fdisk and format your hard drive first, make sure you
erase all relative data.
Now purchase the latest Microsoft operating system and
install it clean, load the several hundred critical fixes
and for the first few seconds while you are on the
internet you should be clean.
Now once you open any browser, media player , outlook or
any other internet facing program, and as long as you do
not connect to any network or install any program you
should be fine.
