Anyone else here use Spymac? Is it any Good?

Yes, it is pretty good. Some has mentioned that the emails
has been down sometimes because of the server upgrade (I think
it is only temporary), but that never was a problem for me for
checking the mails and I think it should be good after the
upgrade. The email is POP supported and it also has a forward
mails feature (although I haven't used the email account a
lot yet). I also have not use their web space extensively at
this point but I did use their blog space and I think it is
decent.

I briefly tried it, the one problem I had is I couldn't get it to
send plain text emails by default from their web interface.
(it was possible to launch the plain text editor from the
html editor). Unfortunately the HTML emails lacked all
the normal html headers etc and the content wasn't visible
in my isp's webmail interface although they were in
outlook express.

I still intend to try out the service more thoroughly,
but I probably won't use it for sending emails.
(unless it turns out they provide SMTP too)

I don't use their mail. It's a good throw-away address. It's often too hard
to get too (server issues).
The forums, though moderated, are pretty cool. No cursing or they'll write
it like this: "Well, that's a *****."

Got an account, though their software crashed several times trying to
get it. From their home page there are two tabs to get to mail, one of
which works and the other which does not (for me)

The whole thing was so iffy I decided to give it a miss.

Makes me wonder about all the ease of use claims for all things MAC

For some reason, there is some strange things going on with
window IE and Spymac. Once I changed to use Firefox and let
it by pass proximitron, the whole spymac site never then give
me any problem. My bet is that some internal security setting
in IE just does not go well with the site.

Yes, I see it now. I have things set to block third party cookies; after
I changed the setting it asked to set a cydoor cookie. Although, having
a cydoor cookie is much less worrisome than actual cydoor software.

Snip
I also have not used their web space extensively at
I've been waiting for my web space to actually work. Going on four
weeks and 3 emails to tech support, all unanswered. Their site with
Firefox on Win 2000 some buttons work, some don't.

Yahoo is better.

I pass.
