spybot search and destroy

Not certain if there is a conflict with the two programs
System was heavily infected tried beta to try to remove
mywebsearch which kept reappearing

Spybot window allow and deny part obscured after I
installed beta version also not allowed to update

Has anyone else encountered similar conflict
 
I have similiar problem.
Running Spybot to get updates
I get a window with the following message:

Error retrieving update info file!

Socket Error # 10060

Connection timed out.

Any help is welcom

Hello,

the site is down at the moment!!!!

That may be a temporary problem with the Spybot server. Sometimes their
server goes down for a day or two. Try it in a day or two and see if problem
has been resolved.
