Spybot 1.2 vs. 1.3

I've got Spybot 1.2 installed on my Win 98 machine and just found out that
there is a Spybot 1.3! (I thought that Spybot updating would automatically
tell me that...) Anyway, is vers. 1.3 the way to go, or is vers. 1.2 good
enough? Thanks!

New version is a major program revision. Ver. 1.2 is no longer
supported, and cannot be updated. Remove the old version and go with the
new one.

The new registry surveillance is brilliant.
Don't update,.. delete version 1.2 and install 1.3.
The rest is overall identical.

Get 1.3. I think you'll like it better than the old version. Nothing got
worse as sometimes happens.

Well, I've read allusions to v1.3 here; am running v1.2 and its
built-in updater insists that no newer version is available. Since
Spybot is, at best, a klunker I've just left bad-enough alone!

You can't upgrade 1.2 to 1.3. Download 1.3...uninstall 1.2...install
1.3...configure, done. I run Spybot and Ad-aware, they complement each
other.

funny you say that .. I done the upgrade on a dozen of machines so far
without the slightest problem ..
