Just checked it out, and it infected my computer with Look2Me spyware. avoid it

It *is* spy/adware.

From the EULA:

SpyBan 1.4 certainly IS spyware and Adware.

There is no author or address neither in the program nor in the Spyban
web page. The webpage has only 3 screens and is static w/o return
address. (www.spyban.net and /help/html and an image of a screenshot).

I kept active my SpyBot adware detector, when I installed SpyBan.
Immediately after SpyBot stopped attempts to reach "Avenue A,Inc." a
recognized spyware.
Since removing Spyban, active attempts by Avenue A have stopped, but
cookies for recur, in spite of agressive cleaning.

Remove SpyBan as quickly as possible and use a trusted ad/spy remover.
