Scott;
SpyAxe is in reality a variant of the Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c malware
infection.

At the present state of malware removal, there exists:
Anti-Virus specialty programs
Anti-Spyware specialty programs
Anti-Trojan specialty programs (examples of which are Ewido, a-squared Free,
and TrojanHunter)
....and a whole host of specific malware detectors/removers.
Some degree of overlap may occur among all three categories. I understand your
desire to have MSAS be an end-all solution to all malware problems application,
but it's just not designed to do everything that might go wrong.

Also, I'd encourage you to keep your and your clients Windows Security Updates
current.
'Microsoft released several security patches on December 13th that will prevent
the method of installation of SpyAxe and the related Smitfraud trojans. If you
are currently infected by SpyAxe, then proceed with the instructions below. Once
you are done, you should immediately go to Windows update and choose the express
install. Install all updates it finds. Once you are updated, you shouldn't be
able to get infected by SpyAxe again.'
