Spy Wiper---spy ware

Despite using Spybot Search and Destroy religiously, something has
taken over my home page. Anytime I click on IE, I get a warning
from Spy Wiper that I must download their program to avoid
unauthorized spyware actions. Well, THAT is unauthorized. When I
try to close the page, I get a blank yellow screen that I can't close
without using Task Manager. :( :(
I have posted my logs to the Spyware info page and am waiting for a
response. But I'm vocalizing my frustration over all this. Just
don't understand why that happened when I update Spybot and use it a
couple times a week. :(

Becky,
Have you had any responses with regards to this? Only we are having the same
problem with one of our users. We use PestPatrol for spyware and that is
unable to help. I have been on the phone to Sophos AV but they have not come
across this particular nasty either. They are investigating and coming back
to me. In the mean time if you have any other information I would appreciate
your help!
Cheers!
Martin.

I followed the attached instructions from Mr. Lebouef, then followed
the instructions that were posted for me on the spyware forum. As to
how to prevent it from happening again, I don't know the solution. I
have Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy but neither seemed to
catch it. Good luck.

Thanks. I have all the security settings correct. I don't reallly
understand all the registry stuff, but I will bookmark those pages for
future use and try to study them when I get a chance.
