I am running XP and my Internet Explorer has been captured by some sort of
toolbar that continually loads all sorts of web pages. I right clicked on
the toolbar then clicked properties and it states:
ADDRESS: (URL) HTTP: myserchnow.com/passthrough/newpass2.HTLM.
PROTOCOL: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
Shopping.net/toolbar.HTLM
How can I trace where this spy-ware is? Ad-Aware and Microsoft Own spy-ware
software is not finding anything. One more thing please. How can I put a
password to stop my daughter from starting up my computer, as this could
help stop this? Thanks for any help given.
