I installed ad-aware 6 the other day, and it works great.
Is there a way I can keep from getting spyware and other
leeches in the first place (can I use any browser settings
to prevent this)? Or do I have to buy the upgraded
version of ad-aware 6?

1. Seek updated reference files for Ad-Aware before each and every use, even
"right outta the box."

2. SpywareBlaster can help avoid such hijackings:
http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html. It, too, should be
updated and run frequently.
