Hi,
I would like to know if there exists some solutions in windows 2000
pro to 'spy' the network traffic, that is to know which computers on a
LAN use more bandwidth than others.
Cheers,
sam

To spy on network traffic, you generally use a packet sniffer like Ethereal. To get
network statistics for usage you would need something like a managed switch or for
the internet use something like ISA server as the gateway/firewall which can show a
lot of reports on internet use. --- Steve

http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=87 -- an under $500 switch that can monitor and
manage bandwidth and secure port traffic by mac addresses and using 802.1X
authentication.
