Spy/Adware scans on single PC with 4 users

One of our home computers has 4 users: my wife, two teenagers, and myself.
We are all registered as administrators. My question is, when I am logged on
and run utilities such as Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spysweeper, and Registry
Mechanic, will the entire computer be scanned, or just what I, as the current
user, have access to?

This is important because if everything gets scanned, then that means that
each of the four people do not have to log on separately and do their own
scans.

The current user's Registry will be scanned.

I understand that you can use the RUNAS command with SpyBot and Ad-aware to to scan the
other user's Registries.
Otherwise you would logon as them and perform the scan(s).

Not a good idea IMHO to give all users admin rights, either.

You and your wife should be administrators *but* all kinds and teenagers
should be limited users.
