I am working with an Excel file that lists another Excel
file as a link (using the path Edit > Links). I cannot
find any place in my original file that is calling for
data from the linked file. Is there any way I can
pinpoint what cell(s) in my original file are linked to
the linked file? I've tried several different searches to
no avail.

Thank you Frank for the add-in. It worked perfectly and
eased my frustration. Thanks again.

The link may not be in a cell.

Could be in a defined name.

Insert>Name>Define. Anything in there that is linked to another file?

Alternative......Download Bill Manville's FINDLINK.XLA from Stephen Bullen's
website.

http://www.bmsltd.ie/MVP/Default.htm

It is a ZIP file. You will need WinZip or similar to open and extract the
FINDLINK.XLA add-in.
