Windows XP is the operating system. You are looking for an application that
runs on top of the operating system. Carey mentioned Microsoft Office or
Excel, but Microsoft Works also has an excellent spreadsheet program in it,
as well as a bunch of other things. I highly recommend the Works Suite, as
that is the best buy for your money. (And probably the best buy in the
industry!)

thanks

And even better. Open Office will do most things the Home user needs and
it's FREE!

Greetings --

Why do you think it would? WinXP is an operating system. As such,
it naturally does not containing any productivity applications. If
you need such, then you need to purchase and install a compatible
application that meets your individual needs.
