Well,
Unacceptable; that's what SPP is PERIOD.
Forget;if you will; the issues of rights;etc. for a moment.

Here's a functionality problem;
Since Thursday; the Office 2007 Activation servers have been down.
Causing peoples "Genuine" software to shift to "reduced functionality".
4 days; still no resolution.
When this happens to the Vista SPP servers; this is going to cause MAJOR
problems for MSFT.
This issue with the Office 2007 servers point to an inherent flaw;
functionally. Will MSFT be liable for lost wages? Will they be
liable;if; God forbid; the SPP servers cause a Doctor's pc to shut down?
What if the o.s. thinks you're a pirate through no fault of your own?
Can MSFT guarantee 100% uninterrupted service?

Functionally messed up.
Unacceptable. PERIOD
MSFT better rethink Vista SPP; or as soon as this happens-serious lawsuits.

Jeff, I posted a Resolution to this Office 2007 Problem Earlier Today after
reading about it in the Microsoft Office 2007 Private Beta Newsgroups:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/925098/
Kevin,
Thanks,
But it's not a terminal server; Office activation issue. But thanks
again. Thanks for lookin out. The Office activation servers are still
down. I'm running a basic laptop;not a terminal server.

I was saying that you need to use the Product Key mentioned in the KB
Article, which is a VLK Product Key, in fact it is the same VLK Product Key
which was handed out to the Microsoft Office 2007 Technical Beta Tester's in
the Private Beta, it will work trust me, Just FYI.

Kevin,
I have a valid key, from MSFT. And installed too;no problem.
But; I'm willing to give your solution a shot. I'll let ya know.

Jeff

P.S. The only reason why I could not give you that VLK Product Key earlier
was the fact that it was not Public yet and would have been an NDA Violation
for the Microsoft Office 2007 Technical Beta Program, now that Microsoft
themselves has made the VLK Product Key Public, it is no longer under an
NDA.
