"Spotty" XP Network

I have had a working XP/Win98 network for over a year. During the last
month it had gotten a little "iffy". Sometimes I can share with the other
systems, but sometimes the network gives me this error:

Sometimes, if I wait a little while, the connections come back. I have
always had Internet connection on all systems. I'm using a LinkSys BEFSR41
v2 Router.

It seems like it just takes the systems time to find each other, like 30 or
so minutes! Is there an XP Service that should be enabled that might not
be?

Thanks for any replies!

Seems like I'm my best replier to my posts! Gotta talk to an analyst about
that.

jimshu1,

Don't believe everything you read about disabling XP Services. The
"Computer Browser" service IS REQUIRED for Windows XP to network reliably.
Put this service on Automatic and your shares will become visible.

Thanks jimshu1 !!!

It works! Great help! I bet you never have a networking problem! Strange
we have the same user name.
