this process is choking my cpu. it's using 99% of
resources and i can't use my computer with that kind of
memory hog. it takes minutes to open an application!

if i end the process in task manager, the process starts
itself back up (even without printing) and returns to
stealing all system resources.

what gives?
 
Steve, Go to Control Panel>AdminTools>Services. Scroll down to
PrintSpooler and rt click and select Stop. If that
helps you can also rt click select properties>Startup up type box you can
select manual or disable.
