I recently installed windows xp on a new computer. When I am trying to load my printer it tells me the spooling service is off and asks if i want to start it I tell it yes and then nothing I have gone in and check in the conf and it says it is stopped and wont let me start it tells ne rpc server unavailable any sugestion

Try these steps to start the spooler service:

* Click Start, choose Run, type "CMD" (with out quotation marks) and click
OK.

In the commad prompt, type NET START SPOOLER and hit Enter key.
