What is the Spooler SubSystem App?

I'm doing a clean install of XP, I'm used to 98SE and I'm not familiar
with this particular application. Each time I boot XP this application
ask for an internet connection.

What is the Spooler SubSystem App?

The Print Spooler service. Loads files to memory for later printing.

spoolsv.exe = Spooler SubSystem App.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe

If you intend on printing anything, it needs to run.

Deny the internet connection unless you do network printing.

Spooler SubSystem App can also be a virus, which uses spoolv.exe. Note the
difference in the file name.
