spooler service?

how do i activate that service?under msconfig i couldnt
find it in the list.im trying to install a printer on my
moms computer and it says i need to activate the service
but i dont know how.in the device manager next to the
printer there is a question mark and when i click on it
it says something about RSC or something like that is
wrong,can someone help me out please?

Control Panel - Admin Tools - Services.
Look for Print Spooler.
It should be set on Started - Automatic.. If not, double click it, in
the 'Startup type' ensure it is on Automatic, and Apply, then click the
Start button
