I posted this awhile back and received a response that the Spooler Service
had to be shut down in order for the jobs to disapear off the Print Manager
List. However if I am doing this for a remote system it is not always
possible to shut the spooler service down, so I am wondering if there is
another way to have the jobs disapear from the print manager list.
Thanks for any info.
Mike
Can someone assist me in this.
If I delete the .shd and the .spl files from the spool directory and then
open the Print Manager for the printer the print jobs are still listed. I
know I can just do a document delete to get rid of them, but is there any
way to have them not show after the .spl file have been manully deleted. Is
this information retained elsewhere on the system.
Thanks for any information.
