Spontaneous Rebooting

Everytime I try to shutdown the service or uninstall the
software the computer just reboots.

Is there an uninstall utility I can use?

can you stop the proses es in Windows Task service (Ctrl/Alt/Del)

gcasDtServ.exe and gcasServ.exe

without a PC reset?

Than try to Uninstall or reinstall.

No can do, I get a reset when I try and end gcasServ.exe

I managed to stop it from loading with msconfig then did a
manual uninstall.

I think there is another issue at hand though cuz i tried
to install spysweeper and I got a spontaneous reboot when
it was done installing and its telling me the install is
corrupt.

Give this a try Andrew:
shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware from the notification area, uninstall
Microsoft AntiSpyware, navigate to c:\program files and delete the Microsoft
AntiSpyware folder, restart the system, then install Microsoft AntiSpyware
to a non-default location such as c:\msas.

what do you have running on your PC for Antispy and Antivirus?
Do you stop them when you install something?
