Spontaneous dialing

After I set uop the network on my two computers, I found that My main computer attempts to spontaneously dail into the internet on its own even when i am not at my computer. How can I detrermine what causes this and/or haw can i disable this annoying practice?

Try Control Panel|INTERNET OPTIONS|CONNECTIONS tab. "Never dial a
connection".
