hi,

does anyone know how to split a 24 page word document into
24 individual word documents, easily?

is this even possible.

mike

Michael,

MS Word has a master document facility that enables you to
create subdocuments from a single (master) document based
on defined headings (Heading 1, 2, etc.)

Now I am not advocating using Master Documents (refer to
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/WhyMasterDocsCorrupt.
htm for details), but you are asking to split the
documents and not use the master doc facility.

Goto the Index tab in Word help and type 'Master
Documents'.

Regards,

Russ

Easily?
There's no such thing as a page in Word - it is a purely transient entity
governed by various factors, not least of which is the current printer
driver. If this is a merge document that is split by section (each section
being one page) then that can be achieved without too much difficulty. If it
is just a continuous document with natural page breaks, then the success
will depend on what's in the pages. More information is needed.
