How can I split a scene in 2 so 2 people can talk on the phone
==============================
I'm unclear what you mean about talking on
the phone but maybe the following info will
help you split your scene:

"Splitting A Clip In MM2.1"

Drag the video/audio clip to the
Timeline.

Play the video/audio by clicking the
"Play" button under the view screen.

You will see the Playback Indicator
(vertical line) advancing across the
timeline.

Click the "Pause" button at the point
where you wish to trim and type...
Ctrl+L or click the "Split" button at the
bottom of the view screen.
(you can also make adjustments by
dragging the Playback Indicator)

Make as many splits as you want and
remove any unwanted clips by right
click / delete.

you mean like the left side is one person talking and the right side is
another person talking?

Hi John

This needs some preperation of course... It would help if the two persons on
phone can be recorded simultaneously using two video cameras. With a single
camera one has to run the conversation twice with appropriate gaps.

Once the two videos are available and placed on the timeline, apply the
"Split: Vertical" transition and increase the overlap to maximum by dragging
the right one to the left.

Interesting concept... I would like to
see a sample video.
