Dear experts,

I implement one domain for 1000 PC's in 30 Different Sites. The impact is
there are 1000 computer names in My Network Place.

I have problem everytime I find another computer using My Network Place
because I have to find in 1000 Computers Name.

To make it faster, Is it possible if we create computer group for each sites?

So, If I have to find one PC name in branch A I just choose the Group of PC
in Branch A then I find that name.

Your help and suggestion will be very appreciated.

Best Regards,
Cahya

You could try applying policies that state 'Do not show computers in My
Network Places' or something to that affect.

Sorry if my question is not clear.

I want see all computers in my network but I want create computer groups in
each seat.

For Example: There are 250 computers in Head office and I create group Head
Office. There are 75 Computers in Branch A then I create computer group for
Branch A.

For example, When I need to know how many PC's in one branch it's easy.

Thanks,
Cahya

Well, you can define OU's (organizational units) for the individual
groups, and that would tell you how many are in the branch, but for My
Network Places, I don't know of any way to divide them in to groups.

I will try to research this problem later.
