.SPL files

I've noticed that our W2K server will suddenly have a lot of files in
c:\winnt\system32\spool\PRINTERS They all have .SPL as extension and I
can view them using a PCL viewer. My question is, what causes them to
get dumped here? I know they are reports that have already printed
because the .SPL has the banner page intact.
 
I believe that is occuring because the option "Keep printed documents" is
enabled in the "Advanced" tab of your printer object.

1. Right Click on printer-> Propertiers
2. Select "Advanced"
3. Remove check from "Keep printed documents"
