Hi,

Is there any software (for Win XP) which will allow me to spin down one
drive, whilst leaving the other running? Or set different idle times for
each drive?

Basically, I have several drives in my case, some of which are accessed
frequently, some of which aren't, so it would be useful to be able to
spin down the unused drives either manually or automatically when I know
they're not going to be required for a while...

Cheers,

Tim.

I searched for a utiltity to do this and all I ever found was one for
Mac's but not one for the PC. Not saying there isn't one, I just
couldn't find it if there is. You can have it done automatically in XP
by setting a time for it to happen under the power saving options but
you can't do it manually, which is what I wanted.
