Hi helpers,
I am relatively computer illiterate so don't talk in mumbo jumbo please. I
have Microsoft XP and I seem to have lost my spider solitaire game off my
computer. My hubby has the sh**ts badly because he loves to play. Any ideas
as to where it might have disappeared to. If I have accidently deleted it,
how can I get it back ??

Use windows Explorer to look in the \windows\system32\ folder of your
boot drive. If there's a spider.exe file there, double click on it.

Please report back with what happens.

Go to Start
-> Control Panel
--> Add/Remove Programs
---> Add/Remove Windows Components
----> Double click Accessories and Utilities
-----> Double click Games and select what items you'd like to reinstall.
------> OK / Next your way out and setup will perform the operations, during
this point it may ask you for your Windows XP CD-ROM.

It was all good until I got to the install your CD part; my CD drive is dead
- no audio, no video, no nothing. What am I going to tell my 73 year old
mother when whe finds out she can't play Solitaire tonight? Is there
somewhere to download Accessories-->Games on-line?

Hi Musing in Mesquite,

Your Mom will probably enjoy playing some of the flash
and java based games available at many popular and free
gamesites until you can borrow a CD Drive from a friend. :-)

Thanks, great idea but she's 73 and didn't like it when the computer moved
the cards for her. I could try a deck of real cards, huh? Thanks again!
