Spider solitaire invisible?!

I can open Spider and select the difficulty level but nothing appears after
that. No cards, no green background, not even a window. But the game appears
to run--I can hear the sounds of the dealing but I can see nothing except my
desktop background. I can close the game via the task bar and it asks if I
want to save this game but that is all. I've tried reinstalling but no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Perhaps the window is located beyond the borders of your display.

What happens if, after responding to the difficulty level pop-up, you
press in sequence the ALT key, space bar then the "x" key? IF your
system is configured to animate windows opening and closing watch
carefully to see where the window appears to expand from. You may have
to alternate maximizing the window with restoring it (ALT, Space then r)
to see which way the window comes from. Then you could use the ALT,
Space m sequence followed by the arrow keys to move the spider window
back into the area you can see on your display.

As a alternative you MIGHT be able to find the window by temporarily
increasing your display resolution. Right click the desktop and select
properties from the resulting context menu.Click the "Settings" tab and
drag the "Screen resolution" slider to the right (if not there already).
If it's already at the right you may need to use the keyboard based move
procedure described above.

Please post a response indicating how well the above suggestions work.

Awesome! Thank you! I was getting a little tired of Freecell...

Your tip about Alt, Space, x did the trick. I can see everything now and
play. Since this method worked, I didn't try your other suggestions.
Thanks again! :)
