I was on CD/Net concerning Vistas problems and seen the artical on this
product to enhance Vista firewall. Has anyone had experience with using this?
Thanks again for the help. I don't want to keep bothering everyone but I just
put out a lot of money for my new desktop with Vista Premium an am reading a
lot about the problems Microsoft is having with it. As big as Microsoft is it
seems funny that they would not put out a total package of security to
protect their operating systems so one would not have to add other products.
Spyware, virus, firewall, malware, bots, rootkits, come on Microsoft your a
fortune !) Billion company take solid care of your products an especially
your costomers. OK rant is over .
Real-time AV applications (choose one (1) only).
Disable the e-mail scanning function during installation (Custom
Installation on some AV apps.) as it provides no additional protection. In
fact, most of experts (and Norton) believe that scanning incoming and
outgoing mail causes e-mail file corruption.

The effectiveness of an individual A-S scanners can be wide-ranging and
oftentimes a collection of scanners is best. There isn't one software that
cleans and immunizes you against everything. That's why you need multiple
products to do the job i.e. overlap their coverage - one may catch what
another may miss.
