Any ideas on how to get spell checking in Outlook Express on my new Dell that came bundled with WordPerfect???

Since OE does not have a built-in spell checker, you need one from another
program. Word Perfect is not compatible with OE, so try Microsoft Word or
some 3rd party program such as Spell Checker from Autospell. Whichever one
you choose, make sure it is a 32-bit program.

Somewhere I heard that Microsoft had some kind of 'patch' that I could download that would enable the spellchecker in my WordPerfect to work in Outlook Express--- anyone know about this or give me direction??

Greetings --

Outlook Express, as you've just discovered, has no spell-checking
capabilities of its own. Instead, it relies upon the presence of
certain specific other Microsoft applications, such as the Office
Suite, Word, or the Works _Suite_ (which includes Word, not the
regular Works). There are also some 3rd-party shareware/freeware
solutions available at any of the many shareware sites on the Internet

Spell Magic seems well thought-of, though I haven't tried it myself:
