Spell checker if no office

If I install just Outlook (no Office), will spell checker (and other overall Office features) work?
 
Bruce,

Spelling is a shared feature and should be installed with a standalone
version of Outlook. If you do a custom installation you should see Spelling
listed in the feature tree.
