We are a landscape company and in our quotations we
always use the botanical names of the plants and trees
rather then the common name. We add these to our
dictionary so we are not always having them flagged with
spell check. Our question is , how can we ensure that
these are not being underlined in red or green when they
are received? We know that most of these names would not
likely be in the recipients dictionary and we are
concerned that this will be viewed as very unprofessional
with al the red and green lines.

Hi Gina, If you want to send me a sample file I will
advise as to what I see. I am familiar with Botanical
Latin, and my dictionary does not contain botanical
entries. Probably best to send direct to me...

Regards, Nick.

You can't and you don't need to. Any underlining the recipients would see
would be done on the recipients' side, not on yours. You have no control
over their dictionaries. Plus, only if they have spell check on reception
enabled would they possibly see the underlines. You see them on the
composition side because you have spell check turned on, but they're not
underlined in the outgoing message.
