Spell Check Question

Spell check in Word 97 will not work for other users.
Only the admin user has spell check. How can I get it to
work for all users? I have windows xp.

I thought I fixed this before. I had found something
online that had me change a font name, but I don't know
if this was to fix spell check or something else.

Wrong group. Just because you're running Word 97 under XP doesn't make this
the right place to ask questions regarding it. You would be better off
posting this to a Word group.
 
Hi Tom,

Checkpoint: Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools

In the right pane where it reads: SharedFilesDir, verify that it reads:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared under Data.

More info if needed:

Go to Start/Run/EXPAND X:\i386\CSAPI3T1.DL_ C:\CSAPI3T1.DLL (Where X is your
CD-Rom drive letter). And then copy it to: Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof
