speed up pc

how can i speed up my pc.i will try to keep this short.there is no land line phone service where i live im using a motorola bag phone with rj11 device to hook up my pc. im connecting at 9600 bps. any suggestions that don't cost a fortune. thanks

saying two-way satellite is the only way and that's going to cost.
