I have a PC in my office that seems to be slowing down every day. I've run
several spyware programs and several different virus programs and everything
has come up clean. I've cleaned the hard disk and also defragmenter the
drive. I've also made some changes in the MSConfig.sys to change the
start-up programs. Is there anything else I should be doing? Any really good
programs that I could buy and see if they can find something?

It's hard to give advice when we need more information?

Hardware: CPU, RAM, Hard Drive Types (SATA, IDE/ATA Ultra DMA, ...), L2
Cache, PCI cards?
Software: Startup apps, System Services Enabled, Drivers, Driver Remnants
(leftovers), ...

File Manager: What is running when system startups up prior to doing
anything else.

I've done a ton of work on the PC and server in my office and things seem to
be running a lot better except for one PC that is taking a very long time to
connect to the shared printer on the server. What do I need to look at to
correct something like this? What processes control this?

Then since system suite has both AV and spyware processes they could be
conflicting with AVG

It sounds like you have to suffer a timeout before you get to talk to
the printer. Could it be a DNS machine that isn't working and makes
you wait 30 seconds before declaring it dead and moving on?
