Speed Difference ? Sempron 3100+ vs Athlon 64 3400+ on socket 754

Hi,

Are the same benchmarks used for the Sempron and Athlon 64 chips? I
have a Socket 754 system with a Sempron 3100+ (Palermo) and I'm
wondering if I could expect a noticeable speed difference on an Athlon
3400+ (Venice)?

I run a lot of protein folding (rosetta@home and Docking@home) in
the background.

Benchmarks will be very similar. Many motherboards will allow
overclocking the Sempron to 3400+ speeds and higher.
