OFFICE2000: I have just upgrade to WIN XP from 98 all new
installs to a new HD, and copied my access database to
the new drive too.
One of my forms is designed to print envelopes, and uses
a specific printer setup. But since the upgrade, it seems
that the form has stopped 'remembering' the set up a give
it.
Everytime I try to use the form it is trying to use the
default printer settings?
Can anyone pls help - this is driving me nuts!
Many thanks - Gary

Office (Access 2000) had a bug which was fixed in a Service Pack (Make sure
you apply them) which changed all the margins back to the default margins.
Believe it or not, It can be fixed by turning off "Track Name AutoCorrect
Information" in Tools ... Options ... General tab.

Hello Arvin thanks for your reply.
My copy of Access 2000 is full patched already, but i
have turned off "track name autocorrect" as you suggested
(just in case)
BIZARRE!... I actually have several envelope forms all
setup the same but for the data source. (at least I think
they are) I have managed to get one of them too work
correctly again and it also uses the printer drivers
preview just how I want it to.
But when I try to do the same with the other envelope
forms they just ignore the changes. I can make them print
correctly if I copy the working form, and change the data
source information. But I don't understand why I can't
just change the printing setup under file> page setup>
set specific printer> ...? for each remaining form.
Where does the form hold the printing information? is it
viewable somewhere, other than through file> page
setup>...?
Thanks again - Gary
