Whenever I write norwegian characters like æ, ø and å, FrontPage no longer
translates them into html-codes æ ø and å. In fact, if I code it like this
directly into the html window, FrontPage automatically turns them into æ, ø
and å again when I switch to the WYSIWYG window and back. I want FrontPage to
automatically translate the Norwegian characters into &..; combinations in
the code, how do I do this?

I use FP 2000.

Have you set your FP Site language settings and page language settings to your language
